Northwest Mens Conference
Hey guys! Make sure you attend the Northwest Mens Conference being held right here at BCC on January 23 and 24. It's a great opportunity to be challenged and encouraged as a Christian man. Do you want more? Want to be challenged in your faith? Do you like to read? Starting January 28th, we are going to be going through C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity". This book is considered a classic and has challenged countless people in what it means to follow Christ. We will be meeting Wednesdays before FUEL at 5:30 PM. Each week you will have a reading assignment which we will then discuss together. You are responsible for getting your own book (around $10). If interested, shoot Adam an e-mail at adamj@bcc.org

Attention all high school girls! Here's an event that will encourage you, challenge you and be a great time of fellowship with your friends and other women from our church. Beth Moore is a best selling author, solid Bible teacher and is coming to Portland. You will enjoy her over the 2 days of this conference. Cost is $60. Walk the red carpet and join us for our first ever Student Movie Awards! Here's the deal: over the next couple months, get together with some of your HSM friends and make a movie. It can cover any genre, but must be clean (no innuendos, blood, etc) and must be 10 minutes or less. Movies must be turned in by Sunday, April 19th.
This is a formal event, so come dressed appropriately.
